You're invited to settle in along the beautiful Rock River on May 11, 12 & 13 to write poetry, letters, or that novel you've been dreaming of completing. This is a free, self-directed event.

2023-2024 Wisconsin Poet Laureate and Fort Atkinson resident Nick Gulig will be at Dwight Foster Public Library on Saturday, May 13 at 11:00 am, reading some of his work and reflecting on his creative process. Drop in, no registration required.
On the evening of May 13, all Write On the River participants are invited to attend a poetry reading where they can share a bit of what they wrote over the past few days. Taking place at Cafe Carpe from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
Stop by the County Inn and Suites bar on Wednesday, May 10 and Thursday, May 11, from 7:00-8:00 pm to connect with other writers and poets.
Pedaling and Poems: A bike ride with Lorine Niedecker
Hop on your bike and take a guided tour with Hoard Museum Director Merrilee to see places that were significant to Lorine Niedecker. Saturday, May 13 at 9:30 am
